    Hi,

I am trying to upload a logo to this site, which is using the Balance theme:

    home

    I have used this guide:

How to Add a Logo to the Header

And couldt not get it to link to the homepage, when it was a background img.

But is that really the only way?

Have also tried 3 different plugins, no one worked?

    Any other way?

    Hi,

    That's a very outdated tutorial.

You should not have to add any code to get the header image. Just go to customizer and add it. As far as the link, in this template, the header image is background and the site title and description still show.

There is no option for me to upload a logo, only a header image, which is an image for the entire header and not only the logo.

    Where else could it be?

Ok. I get it now. The header image is all there is. Some templates replace site title and description with an image. Yours creates a background image. In either case they the the header function in the customizer
