    I have a client who pointed out the list-style-type "upper-alpha" is not working on her site that I built in Genesis and Dynamik.

    She has a page with a lot of formatting using numbered lists, followed by text she'd like to be preceded with uppercase letters, such as:

    1. Text
    2. Text
    A. Text
    B. Text

    In edit mode, it looks perfect. After being published, the upper alpha characters are displaying as numbers.

    I narrowed down the issue to Genesis. Changing the theme to Twenty Twenty One and it displays fine. Once Genesis and the Genesis Sample theme are active, the problem occurs.

    The CSS behind the scenes looks correct to me. It's being created via the Advanced Editor Tools plugin (previously called TinyMCE Advanced).

    <ol>
    	<li>line one</li>
    	<li>line two</li>
    </ol>
    <ol style="list-style-type: upper-alpha;">
    	<li>this should be labeled with "A"</li>
    	<li>this should be labeled with "B"</li>
    	<li>this should be labeled with "C"</li>
    	<li>this should be labeled with "D"</li>
    </ol>

    Any thoughts are welcome! Thanks!

    It would help if you posted a link to the page so we can examine the CSS in our browser tools.

    Thanks, Victor. I didn't post one earlier as I was actively changing CSS on my own. Here it is, back to its original state.

    You have to apply the list-style-type to both the ol and li elements. You're only applying it to the ol element and dynamic's css is providing the decimal for the li elements.
