QUESTIONM
MemberI have a client that's site is not showing the facebook link I created on his "coming soon" page on his desktop. It shows up just fine for myself on my desktop under explorer and chrome and even on another desktop I accessed it from but for some reason just not on his.
Here's his site http://rpmplastering.ca/
What's really troubling is that when he accessed another site I created with a different studiopress theme from his desktop the social media icons in the top right corner wouldn't display either.
Here's that site http://amc-pawn.com/
Is this a problem with the theme's I'm using (executive pro for RPM and minimum pro for AMC) or something wrong I've inputted wrong or is this just HIS computer messing it up. I'd really like to know whether this is isolated to his cpu because if not it's a pretty big problem that I've never noticed before.

ParticipantFirst try clearing your browser cache.
Second, it looks like you are using HostGator, and they automatically install a caching plugin now; I forget which one. You should either deactivate it while you are working on the site, or if there is a Flush Cache link in the WordPress Admin, you can use it. GoDaddy has a Flush Cache, but I haven't actually worked on a Hostgator site since the cache.
I see Facebook links and icons on all the sites.

MemberThank you for the speedy reply. Oh dear though, cache issues always make me feel slow (I have no idea what they actually do, I just use them because smarter folk than I do) so I may need more hand holding on this :s If it would be quicker to just install a different possibly better cache plugin I'm open to suggestions as my following queries are long winded and you'll be able to tell I'm just lost.
1) If browser cache is the same as site cache then it shouldn't be an issue as I "delete cache" regularly or is that not the same as clearing a cache? If not, wouldn't it be him that needs to clear his cache? lol I know.
2) The plugin Hostgator installs is "WP super cache" which is what I am using on both sites. I haven't worked on AMC for a while but if I deactivate it just to alleviate the problem then isn't that site rendered without a cache plugin?
3) I see no "Flush cache" option anywhere in my wp admin section but I am using GoDaddy but simply as my registrar, not hosting, so I'm assuming that option isn't available to me either?
4) How did I get this job? Jk, but really though.
