    I've placed the Genesis Enews Extended plugin in the footer widget of Atmosphere Pro.

    The input field and subscribe button are the width of the footer, ie too wide.

    How do I set the width of the input field and the submit button to a set percentage of the footer width?

    I'm guessing there's some CSS stylesheet thing to do here. I've tried:

    #enews-ext-2 {
    margin: 0 auto;
    max-width: 600px;
    }

    But it's not making a difference.

    Any other suggestions?

    Best
    Miki

    That should work, however it hasn't been added to the site from what I can see. But the CSS is correct.

    The only thing i'd change is to use classes instead of ID, so incase you change the enews widget in the future, it won't change the styling.

    .footer-widgets-1 .enews-widget {
        margin-left: auto;
        margin-right: auto;
        max-width: 600px;
    }

    But it's the same thing really.

    Hey Dave

    Thanks for responding!

    I pasted the previous CSS to the editor with no effect, and later to the 'Additional CSS' under Customize Appearance, and no effect.

    I've pasted your code into the css editor, under /* Footer Widgets, but it doesn't seem to affect the width either.

    Am I missing something?

    Best,
    miki

    I can see it working fine. It sounds like you need to clear your browser cache.
