    I would like to lighten the overlay of the home page video/header media in Business Pro. How can I go about doing that with CSS?

    In the theme's style.css, locate

    .page-header:before {
    	content: '';
    	display: block;
    	position: absolute;
    	top: 0;
    	left: 0;
    	right: 0;
    	bottom: 0;
    	background-color: rgba(20, 30, 40, 0.82);
    	z-index: 1;
    	pointer-events: none;
    }

    and change

    background-color: rgba(20, 30, 40, 0.82);

    to

    background-color: rgba(20, 30, 40, 0.42);

    Hmmm...that didn't seem to work. Have any other ideas?

    Worked fine. You just need to do a hard refresh in your browser.

    Cmd + Shift + R on Mac
    Ctrl + F5 on PC

    You can remove it without CSS. Go to Appearance/Customize/Colors. Then click on Overlay Color. There is a percentage slider you can move to whatever percentage you’d like.
