    I really need help on how to make the site containers transparent. I have set a photo as a background and I wish to make my site containers transparent.

    Since theme has white as background for container, you can comment out that part in style.css to make it transparent. For this, open style.css file and look for background:#fff;

    Do not delete it as you want to use that in future, just comment it out like:
    background:#fff; becomes //background:#fff;

    Make sure you backup style.css file before making changes. Remove instances of background:#fff; from various section to get the desired look.
