ParticipantI have the same problem here. I'm using Lifestyle. Comments are an all or nothing game with pages in this theme.
If I turn on comments in Genesis > Theme Settings, they are on site-wide and I cannot disable them on a per page basis.
If I turn off comments in Genesis > Theme Settings, they are off site-wide and I cannot enable them on a per page basis.

ParticipantFor pages, you need to enable them on a per page basis on the Edit Page screen.

ParticipantHi Brad, Thanks for your quick response. I have done this. Basically, the Edit Page settings are being ignored. They (i.e. comments) only show up on all pages, or none ... as set by Genesis > Theme Settings.

ParticipantAre you referring to existing posts or pages?
When i enable comments globally, they show up on posts only.
They need to be enabled on pages on a per page basis.
When comments are disabled, it doesn't remove the existing comments list, only the form. You can use code to remove all existing comments(list) and/or form.

ParticipantYes, existing pages. I could never get comments working on Pages, so I left them 'off'. As such, I don't have any comments on my pages. When comments are globally enabled, I cannot turn them off on a per-page basis in Edit Page.

ParticipantDo you want to remove the comment form or comments list from pages?

ParticipantI am trying to add the comment form to specific pages, but not all pages. I've tried turning it on globally and turning it off for specific pages. I've also tried the reverse, turning it off globally, and turning it on at the page edit level.

ParticipantYou could create a page template and add the form directly to the template.
When i used the discussion settings to turn on comments, the form only displays after single posts.
To enable the form on a single pages, i had to use the comment settings on the Edit Page screen for each page.
