Layout for articles and Homepage

Hi to all!
I'd like to use the frontpage layout by 3 columns, meanwhile by 2 columns for articles and pages. This solution can avoid an high number of internal links from thousands articles.
My question is this: if I select in Genesis Configuration the layout at 2 columns for articles/page and in in the page home at 3 columns the result is all site in 2 columns.
Is possible to choose 2 differents layout for homepage and articles?

You can do this with an edit in front-page.php.

1. In Genesis Theme Settings > Default Layout select Content-Sidebar
2. In front-page.php, in the function "news_home_genesis_meta", edit as follows:

Replace the default ...

// Force content-sidebar layout setting
add_filter( 'genesis_site_layout', '__genesis_return_content_sidebar' );

... with:

//* Force sidebar-content-sidebar layout setting
add_filter( 'genesis_pre_get_option_site_layout', '__genesis_return_sidebar_content_sidebar' );
