If you go to the site https://www.karlstrauss.com/ it asks you if you are 21 or not and if you click Yes, that landing page disappears and it takes you to https://www.karlstrauss.com/. Anyone know how they do that? Is that a plugin or something?

I have see other sites do it like... if you would go to https://www.karlstrauss.com/ and click Yes... then it would take you to https://www.karlstrauss.com/home/ or something like that. I get how that way works, but would love to do it how they do it above,

    Thanks,

    Doug

If you examine the site's source, The site is using a form. The Yes/No are cleverly disguised radio buttons. When someone click yes, they set a cookie called age checker. All the content for the home page is available in the initial source code. The Age Checker is a modal screen that displays over the home page content. If the cookie is set, the modal screen is hidden and the home page content displays. If they click no, the cookie is erased and the site redirects to koolaid.com. It's all done with jQuery. You can view the source code in your browser.
