Memberjust downloaded the Jessica theme to check it out and I'm getting an error message when I install it that it can't install it because the style.css is missing.

ModeratorKaren:
I'm moving this thread to another forum (it's not a support forum feedback/bug question).
But, to answer your question - you should submit a support ticket to the theme's developers. Is it a SP theme? I don't recognize the name.

ModeratorI couldn't install it on my local host either. The issue is that the zip file has three directories in it. It has the theme, the psd files used to create the theme, and the theme demo xml files. WordPress can't install it the way it is packaged. You could unzip it and FTP the jessica folder to your theme directory and you should be fine. The style sheet does exist in that folder. The third party developer that created the theme should have moved the PSD and XML directories under the jessica folder, then it would have installed.

MemberI can't get to the developer support because apparently I have to setup an account for each new third party theme now??? even though I bought my pro pack like a gazillion years ago - I have zero clue what my transaction ID would be, I have no idea when I bought it - other than to say you all had maybe 10 themes at the time, I think it was 2007,08,09 ish but i have no idea. so I don't even know how to report anything other than in the forum at this point unless it relates to a sp child theme.
little frustrated, sorry. not trying to take it out on you - been in the hospital for a few days and a bit frustrated.

MemberThank you Victor, I may move the files around and rezip myself. Working through lots of pain, leaking appendix and insurance won't approve surgery until it ruptures. It's hard to think.

ModeratorAh - a new third party theme - sorry that I didn't recognize the name!
Since it is a third party theme, you will need to get support from the third party developer. Most of the developers will accept a screenshot of your my.studiopress.com account area showing the theme in there, as proof that you own the theme, and are entitled to their support.
(I provide support for one of the third party theme developers, and we accept that as proof on our site).
