    Any suggestions to resolve this validation error;

    there is no attribute "itemprop" validation error...

    I'm using a secondary sidebar with the old Agency theme, and the featured image causes this validation error.

    doc type is XHTML 1.0 transitional.

    I'd like to display an image on this sidebar; i tried the "image-widget" plugin, but that's not the right look.

    resolved via css:

    #sidebar-alt h4.widgettitle - added background image; this displays an image beneath the widget title and eliminates the itemprop validation error.
