    Hi there

    I'm not sure if this is a word press issue or Genesis...

    I'm with Eway and use a pay now button. Eway provide a script to copy and paste into your page.
    It's been working fine until some of the latest Word Press updates? Or Genesis updates?

    When I copy and paste the code into the wordpress page it puts <br> in between the script lines.
    And it knocks the formatting out of the page as well.

    Has anyone else experienced this and have you been able to find a solution?

    Kind regards
    Mandy

    The WordPress Visual editor will do this. You need to use the text tab if you copy and paste into a page. You'd be better off though not copy and pasting a script into a page. Scripts belong in the header or footer, not the page content. Each page has a metabox for page specific scripts, you can add scripts to the Genesis/Settings Header/Footer scripts area, use the Genesis Simple Hooks plugin, or add them conditionally with PHP in functions.php. That's 4 different ways to add scripts, where the won't be reformatted, and these 4 are not the only ways.

    Hi Victor

    Thankyou... 🙂

    I was using the text tab, but it doesn't make any difference. Even saving it while still having the text window displayed after pasting it doesn't work.
    Either way when the page is viewed in the browser the formatting is knocked out.

    I want the Pay Now button to be displayed directly under where I've written "Click below to register"

    The script looks like this and can be placed anywhere on the page - just a straight copy and paste, there's nothing else that goes with it...

    <script src="https://secure.ewaypayments.com/scripts/eCrypt.js"
       class="eway-paynow-button"
       data-publicapikey="*****************************************************"
       data-amount="1000"
       data-currency="AUD" >
    </script>

    It used to work, but since I've updated Word Press and Genesis it's stopped.

    My clients aren't able to pay me at the moment using Eway, unless I get on the phone or skype with them.
    I'm so embrassed about this.

    Warm regards
    Mandy
