    A client is using the AgentPress theme here

    As you can see, there is something wrong with the homepage CSS, as there is no padding on the left or right sides (the balance of the site is fine)

    SP is aware of the issue so are presumably updating the CSS, but in the meantime, this is what I've been told:

    Someone added some custom template code to this part of the style.css file and that has cleared the padding normally on the home page
    .page-template-home-demo-php.full-width-content #inner,
    .archive.full-width-content #inner,
    .home.full-width-content #inner {
    padding: 0;
    width: 960px;
    }

    I've been instructed to remove only the first line of this section - .page-template-home-demo-php.full-width-content #inner, - which makes absolutely no difference to the padding

    When I remove the entire section, it resolves the padding on the left, but not on the right

    If anybody else has had this issue and knows how to resolve it, please advise. I'm a long way from proficient with CSS to be able to fix this myself.

    I have logged a support ticket and am awaiting resolution there, but thought somebody in the forums might have a quick resolution

    Hi,

    Whoever was trying to help you was looking at the demo theme online at demo.studiopress.com/agentpress and not your actual site.

    I would target this in your css file:

    body, h1, h2, h2 a, h2 a:visited, h3, h4, h5, h6, p, input, select, textarea

    And add:

    margin: 20px; (or however many pixels you want) to stop the content from going to the edges.

    Hi Joyce,

    The CSS referenced is contained within the default AgentPress stylesheet, and has been downloaded several times.

    So I'm not really sure what to do - are you suggesting that the margin information needs to be added within every element you've documented above?

    This seems like massive overkill for what I suspect really oughta be a very simple fix.

    Does anybody have an older version of the stylesheet for this theme?

    I have already tested it in Firebug - that's where I got that from - it's all on one line, probably near the top of your CSS file.
