    Hi all,

I am totally new to Genesis Framework, so forgive me if the question is too rudimentary.

I am using Breakthrough Pro. It is fantastic. But I'd like to add a testimonial widget to one of the static interior pages. Google searches turned up a lot tips on adding widgets to sidebars or footers, but not explicitly on adding it to a page. So: Can it be done? Or, rather: What can I do to make it happen?

    Thank you!

You could use something like Widget Options to display it only on the one page.

That plugin doesn't seem to do what I am asking: Insert a widget into a page.

Can that be done at all?

It can be done without a plugin but will require some coding work to get it done. It’s not difficult once you’ve been through it.

    A link here -

Otherwise you’ll have to find a WordPress plugin to do it for you.

I actually posted the wrong URL that day when I was working. Sorry about that. The link that should have posted is this one - https://wordpress.org/plugins/widgets-on-pages/. You can custom code it as was mentioned, but where on the page do you want the widget? Inside the body content, above the header, below it....? You can also try Andrea's code - https://www.nutsandboltsmedia.com/how-to-add-a-widget-area-to-a-page-using-genesis/.

Hi, I watched the plugin demo but haven't tried it, but this plugin looks great! Thanks!

I realized I never responded to @andytc -- Thank you for the link! The process is intimidating, but that's obviously what one needs to learn to customize a theme.
