    Hi,

I am trying to figure out how to create the intro text that is just above the main body of text in the post found in the Ambiance Pro Demo page here:

Example photo: Example of demo page

I would really appreciate the help!

    Thanks,
    Arnold Watson

    Brad,

Thank you for the timely response to my issue. However, I have copied and pasted the information you provided into my functions.php file and have encountered a problem. Once I have saved the file, and refreshed it to ensure its updated, but the site will not load and I am finding that I have to restore the original functions.php file for it to work normally once again. Is there something I am missing in the application you gave me?

    Thanks again,
    Arnold Watson

    Works for me.

You might need to copy all the code from the view raw link in the Gist and then paste it at the end of the functions file using a code editor like Notepad++

Otherwise the code can change if you copy it from the webpage and then paste it into your functions file using the WordPress editor rather than a code editor.

    Hi Brad,

I tried many times following your suggestions on how to apply the code, but I was not able to achieve success. I know it is not you (as you are well versed in coding and evident here in this forum). Maybe I have not provided you with the correct information or not enough. Would it help to see the functions.php file in entirety to see what is the matter?

    Thanks,
    Arnold

Sure. Paste it into a Github Gist and link to it from here please.
