Hello. I am still new here and to WP. I am hoping my inquiry is of value to others too. I am looking to create a clean layout on a news theme page for board member and advisory council bios. Are they some plugins which are designed to help me enter a 150 -word bio and also embed a photograph with some frame and position options?
Ideally I would also like to eventually include some linked in, facebook and twitter links for each! Possible?
For starters a layout tool would be really helpful.
Any thoughts, ideas and recommendations?Cheers

The Genesis user profile does which part of what I said?
What I am asking for is not for users, as in admin people, it is to create a page to display board member bios on a regular page. I may not have used the right language above. Sorry about that. Also, if this it the correct tool for the job, since it is a widget, how do I make the contents I put in it in the body of the page rather that the sidebar?
Thanks again

2. What you need is a custom coded template or template with widget areas so you can use profile widgets in there.
How many on the board?
November 10, 2013 at 10:16 pm #72249neilpParticipantThanks Brad - I appreciate your engagement here.
1) I understand what you are saying about user profiles and this is not that situation
2) I will look into getting a custom coded template. In the meantime is Studiopress equipped, out of the box, with tools to create templates with widget areas for a page? I would like to learn about templates and how to make them! Can you point me to a tutorial for that? I have not found one on this site.
They are currently twelve steering committee (I mis-spoke earlier, they are not board members!) members with 3-5 coming on board in the new year. I have created a page with two graphics showing the clean look I am interested in creating on a new page. How are those built/created?
Here is the link for you and others to look at http://twopointoakland.com/draft
Cheers
