I am trying to make this blog have a wider content area on the blog pages when I have three columns activated. Right now the content area is very narrow. Help please! Thank you!!

You can make it wider overall by adding

.sidebar-content-sidebar #inner {
     width: 1200px;
}

But you'll then need to continue targeting nested elements so that they take up that additional space. You'll also need to edit your media queries so your content re-sizes before the window becomes smaller than your content area.
