Inline widgets in widget area – Magazine Pro

Hello all,

I want to have a widget area in "genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap" and created 4 equally spaced widgets there. I am following exactly these steps (simple copy paste actually):

Add Featured Widgets Inline Anywhere In Genesis

Somehow though, my widgets show up underneath each other, not inline in a row. I have tried smaller margins, adding "inline" commands, even using the built in one-fourth option from Genesis itself. Whatever I do, something in Magazine Pro is prohibiting content to show up in a nice row.

What is the trick here, anyone knows?

Are the widgets on your home page? That is controlled by front-page.php with specific CSS for its widget areas.

I had another look. Basically I can easily get a four column inline widget using the css column classes using one-fourth first and one-fourth. It works for text widgets, not a problem at all and it works on any page on my site, including the home page.

I have tracked the problem down back to using the widget 'Genesis - featured posts'. This one, no matter which settings or margins, does not seem to want to be inline. The widgets show up underneath each other, on any page.

Any suggestions here?

This thing did the trick, I found it online but I have no idea to where it relates:

overflow: visible;
}
