I have just changed my Genesis theme template to Infinity (and am very happy with it). Am having a particularly sticky problem that doesn't want to resolve with ease. So here I am and here's the problem below.

In the previous incarnation of my site http://www.tasteoftango.co.uk I had chosen to hide blog post titles as well as other random stuff which I used snippets of code in functions.php, style.css, you know the drill.

Now that I have changed my theme, my blog post titles are still not showing up. Enter bug that's been bothering me for the last 36 hours!

    Things I have attempted
-a fresh install of Genesis framework (risky, but didn't work)
-looking at the CSS, I couldn't see it
-trying to see if it was in custom CSS, I couldn't see it or anything, where does the Custom CSS end up?
-looking at developer features in Google for both my site on the blog page and the Infinity template demo page, there's definately a display post title action happening on the demo page but that party ain't happening at home on my blog.

I'm kind of done with this now and need some help. Please could you let me know if you can solve this probably baby easy problem.
    I'd really appreciate it!

I would check your child themes functions file for PHP code which removes the entry title. or you may have added it to a template file.

Otherwise, you may have added CSS which does the same. Generally, CSS should be added to the end of your child themes style.css file.

    Hi Brad

Thanks for writing promptly. Do you think these changes would still be there even with a new installs of Genesis and theme files? I had a look and couldn't find this tag.

It seems you removed the entire entry-header markup. Do you have a separate file for custom functions?

They won't be there with a new install of your child theme however any custom CSS you add via any additional WordPress input field or plugin may effect all themes.

Also, clear caching because this maybe the problem.

How did you remove the titles? PHP or CSS?

I have figured it out guys thank you! Even though I had previous put in custom CSS, it was actually a plugin that was causing the problem. Strangely for a title toggle plugin, when I set it to "do not toggle" it was toggling.
    Thanks again for your help.

I would notify the plugin Dev about this issue as the plugin may need updating.

I think it's probably my site being "unique" but shall do so. Thanks for the tip.
