The default logo size for the Parallax Pro theme is 720 ?— 140. It does not work well for the logo that I'm working with. The width is fine, but I need to perhaps double the height to about 280. Of course that will also involve increasing the height of the entire header and recentering the links.

I'm thinking I'll have to modify the functions.php as well as the CSS. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Normally, you match the width and height of your image to the values for the width and height in the PHP code for the custom header function located in functions.php and in the CSS under the Site Header section of the style.css file.

Untested however that normally how you change the size.
