This has happened on two different web pages now where as soon as I insert an image into the page using the media button, not only does the image show appropriately where I put it and how I sized it... but it also shows above the post content full size (image only shows twice on the front end, not on the back end). On pages where I have two images, only the first image will appear in duplicate at the top. I definitely checked the page "plain text" tab and the image HTML code does NOT appear twice. I also checked the "featured image" box and it is empty. I "inspected element" of the erroneous image and it does not appear to have any unique CSS class assigned to it that I could block. It is just a part of the "entry content" block. This is a brand new site (I would share a link but it's behind an under construction window) so it should not have any bugs. I also tried deactivating all plugins and still have the problem.

    Any thoughts??

Hi there, thanks for this information. But how do I configure the settings if I only want the featured images to show in the POSTS that actually have assigned featured images and not in the PAGES?
