I've been stuck on this for days. The share buttons work on any other page of my site except the homepage. Whenever i click the share button, no matter what browser, it tries to share my blog page, and i don't want that. I want people to be able to share my homepage.

I've tried deleting the blog, and its category. Still tries to go to blog page. I want the homepage share buttons to share the homepage.

    advice?

This is because you are not using the front-page.php file provided with Daily Dish Pro. You have a standard page using the default page template displaying nothing but posts and the sidebar. The system thinks it is the blog page.

so........how do i change it? I switched the default to "landing" and updated. Put "1" as the order. Is that it? I am not familiar with editing php files.

i'm guessing the front-page php file is the "Top home-middle-bottom" widgets under the widgets section? I even made the Home-top a Genesis featured page and my homepage as that. It still didn't work. Share buttons still went to blog, not homepage.

    I need more explanation.

You need to follow your theme's setup instructions. They explain everything. They are located on the download page.
