    I need to turn off the function responsive theme, or do not want it to automatically resize while maintaining a standard fixed size. How Do I?

    You can remove all the CSS code at the end of your child themes style.css file which controls the responsiveness and resizing of your site.
    Example:

    /* Responsive Design
    ------------------------------------------------------------ */

    @media only screen and (max-width: 1200px) {

    This is where the code starts.
