    Hi there,

    I have a problem with my excerpts from my homepage:
    http://www.martinaleukert.de

    How can I achive that the homepage just shows excerpts like the first one - in full width and just each excerpt including the title in a row, then the next one in full witdh as an truncated excerpt underneath ... limited to a number of 4 ?
    I don't want to have that 4er grid which shows up underneath the first post ... it looks a bit messy ... no titles are there ..

    Has anybody an idea?

    What theme. You mean you want to remove the grid loop and just use the standard loop?

    This is the eleven-40-theme I use.

    Oh sorry, I am not a coder nor a developer, so I don't know what a loop is ... Please bear with me, maybe you can explain further?

    Loop = List of posts which normally display on the home page.

    Your theme uses the grid loop so they display in 2 columns

    I assume you want them to display in a single column?

    Yes, a single column would be better or the 2-column if it is possible to give the excerpts the titles they originally had.

    Maybe you know a way to give the excerpts the titles?

    Delete the home.php file in your child themes folder.

    But the titles of the posts are still missing. Is there any possibility to get the excerpts with the associated title?
