    Hi there,

    theme Eleven 40.

How do I remove the Page Title widget from specific pages and posts?

I only want the Page Title widget to appear on the home page and ideally on another couple of pages. That's all.

Thanks so much for your help! I really don't know what I would do without this forum 🙂

    Try this:

There is some code for individual pages, or multiple pages.

Hey Susan, thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately that plugin removes the article's title and not the page title. I gave it a try earlier today...

    Any other solution 🙂 ?

Thanks a lot for your help by the way

Let's try another plugin - the Simple Sidebars plugin:

The Title Toggle plugin allows you to remove all page titles by default in its settings, or on an individual per-page basis. Could you clarify what you mean by Page Title Widget? I don't have experience with that theme, but in general if you're just trying to remove the page title, that plugin will do it.

eleven40 has a special "Page Title" widget area which is like a large tagline that shows above the content/sidebar wrap. It's a confusing name for that area.

I use the Display Widgets plugin to show/hide widgets on certain pages: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/display-widgets/

I figured there was something I was missing. Display widgets is a great plugin (especially over Widget Logic).

Hey thanks all for your replies 🙂

Susan thanks a lot for your help, but that plugin gives me control over my sidebars but not over the "page title" widget.

But ryantownley, your solution is actually the best so far. I'm gonna need to assign a different category to the posts where I want the widget to be displayed but it will do it.

Thanks everyone, and of course I'm always open to other solutions if you have any.
