    Hi, I want to change some output from framework.php:

    genesis_markup( array(
    			'html5'   => '<main %s>',
    			'xhtml'   => '<div id="content" class="hfeed">',
    			'context' => 'content',
    		) );
    			do_action( 'genesis_before_loop' );
    			do_action( 'genesis_loop' );
    			do_action( 'genesis_after_loop' );
    		genesis_markup( array(
    			'html5' => '</main>', //* end .content

    I want to change 'html5' => '<main %s>', to 'html5' => '<primary %s>',

    Hi Victor,

    Thanks for the response. I found that article, but it tells you how to create your own genesis_markup, but now how to edit the existing ones. There does not appear to be a filter for the genesis_markup in framework.php.

    You would have to create your own version of the genesis() function with your custom markup in functions.php and call your new function instead of genesis() in your page templates.
