I have been using an Avada theme (a live site) and recently built a copy site on a Genesis theme. I need to migrate the Genesis theme to the live site and override the Avada WITH the SEO. I use the Yoast SEO plugin and it is currently on the Avada theme site. I found the SEO Data Transporter but the Avada theme is not listed. How do I migrate the Genesis with the Yoast to override Avada?I hope this makes sense!

I think you're going to be very surprised when you migrate away from Avada. The Fusion page builder that you use with the Avada theme inserts shortcodes in your content. Here's an example of what I mean:

    [fusion_text]
Community reaches out and helps others
[/fusion_text]

Shortcodes are the text surround in the square brackets that you see above. You either have to find a way to remove the shortcodes programmatically or edit your pages to remove the shortcodes after you migrate away from Avada.

Yes Avada has a lot of bloat, that is why I am moving! I have both sites live (the development one is blocked from Google- for SEO) I ran the Pingdom test on both...WOW the difference!

I just need to know how to move the SEO, do I need to copy & paste all of it by hand?? Or is there a tool that is compatible.
