    Hi Guys,

    I am using Infinity Pro. In the Demo (http://my.studiopress.com/themes/infinity/#demo-full) when you click on Our Team it shows head shots of the staff, and when you mouse-over them it shows their name and title. I Love that and I have it working exactly as explained in the installation tutorial.

    What I DON'T want it to do is be an active link to the person's profile page. All I want people to do is see the name and title when they mouse-over. I do not want the images clickable. Is that possible, and if so.... how would I go about doing it?

    Thanks,

    Doug

    Weird thing... when I go to http://my.studiopress.com/themes/infinity/#demo-full and click on Our Team it does not show the mouse-over effect, but if I refresh the page and scroll down to it it does. Just in case you look and don't see the mouse-over effect I am talking about 😉

    Hi Brad,

    I read the entire post and did what you said and the other 2 options. His final solution with the Text Widget removes the cool mouse-over effect.

    I changed this:

    printf( '%s', get_permalink(), $image );

    to

    printf( '%s', $image );

    and the links still worked. Was that the correct code I was suppose to replace?

    Thanks for your help...

    Hi Doug

    This solution relates to removing the links from the team template.

    Looks like you want to remove them from the front page widget area which uses the featured page widgets? In that case you would need to find a plugin which extends the featured page widget and includes a option to unlink the image.

    Otherwise, you can copy over the featured page widget file to your child theme, load it and modify it there.

    Thanks Brad! That is a little beyond my skill set, so I think I will go with the text box solution.

    I appreciate the info...

    Thanks again,

    Doug
