    Hi,

Does anyone know how and can show how to make a full-width, parallax image (section) within a post in any of Genesis themes?

Actually, I just built a new blog with the Ambiance Pro child theme and I've tried with no success to make a full-width image section within post. I love it because it makes for an immersive reading experience. Take a look at what I mean when you scroll down on this page. (Now, this is a theme demo with Aesop Story Engine feature).

Even when I used Aesop Story Engine on the blog and set the parallax image section to full-width, it still displayed just within the defined width of text/content area.

So, how can this be done? I'd most appreciate any help that does it.

    Thanks to you all.

    Kabolobari.

    Hello,

According to this page, a few lines will setup full width in Genesis with Aesop

    http://aesopstoryengine.com/developers/

A few lines of CSS will get you full-width Aesop Story Engine components in Genesis. Just paste this code into a third party WordPress CSS plugin like Simple Custom CSS.

That quoted section has a link off to some CSS : https://gist.github.com/bearded-avenger/f478639cbf0847c48230
