    Team Genesis,

I'm making a custom theme and would like to have a vertical menu, similar to the Sixteen-None Pro theme. I'm trying hard to convert an existing theme of mine (non-Genesis) into a Genesis theme. The effect I'm going for is the screenshot below.

I think I've got the other elements figured out, but the menu is perplexing to me. Any ideas?

I think you can use the custom menu in a widget area or sidebar.

I can, but I want to make it hard coded so it works right out of the box.

I suggest you use the code from the Sixteen Nine Pro theme as it already includes a vertical nav menu.
