Not sure if I'll be able to explain what I want, but here goes...my site is http://dschurchofchrist.com/.  On the home page, I have the Responsive Slider set up with 5 slides.  On the last slide, Searching for Truth, I want to be able to click on the slide and go directly to the YouTube or Vimeo video and start playing. I don't want to "store" the video on my site (not sure what that's called),  because I don't want to take up the space on my server.  I assume if I  "embed" a video, it's staying on my server and being accessed/viewed.  Does this make any sense at all?

The two codes (?) for these two are:    http://youtu.be/Yh2tLHZT2vI and http://vimeo.com/34565015.  Please keep in mind that I know nothing about HTML coding and am really scared of CSS manipulation!  THANKS.

    No.

You can embed Youtube code even though the video is hosted on Google's server.

Doubt you can do this with that slider.

I suggest you install the Easing Slider or the Soliloquy Lite version.

These sliders will enable you to link directly to a custom url whereas your existing slider links to posts.

I finally figured out that the slider DID have an option to link to an external url, so it's all working perfectly now, clicking the slider image takes you directly to the youtube url and it immediately starts playing--yay!  Thanks so much.

Tracy, can you elaborate on how you did this?
