I'm trying to insert a custom logo or header in epik. I know how to insert a header, but displaying it properly is the issue.

My site (mikemetcalfe.co) is setup as follows:

top: genesis before header widget (using custom menu with social icons)
under: header (with Appearance > Customise > Site title, displaying text name logo) and primary navigation

I'd like to place a logo so it sits above the name text, but I think that means getting the custom header in the header section, to overhang upwards into the genesis before header section. Anyone know how to achieve that?
