    Hi all,
    I'm currently working on a website that I base on the Executive theme.
    I want the portfolio archive page only show the images and description info.
    So I want the default H2 title to be not shown.
    I can do this via CSS with a 'visibility: hidden' at the proper place, but I feel this is not the most effective way.

    Can anyone tell me how to do it in a more gentle way.
    Maybe by modifying/adding something in the 'archive-portfolio.php' file.

    Select no content in the Genesis featured posts widget so only the featured image displays.

    Brad,
    Thanks for your reply.

    But selecting 'no content' is a method for showing posts on the homepage, but I'm talking about the Portfolio Archive page.
    I don't have a specific widget on that page, because there is no sidebar.
    But maybe I will show the title, but then without the url that is automatically attached to it.
    The case is, that I use the portfolio to show the people working at the company, nothing more.

    If you know a better way of doing this, I'll be glad to hear that.

    Yes you are right. That method only applies to other themes using a non custom post type portfolio with widget for the portfolio page.

    Please add this code in your archive-portfolio.php file.

    remove_action('genesis_post_title', 'genesis_do_post_title');

    remove_action( 'genesis_entry_header', 'genesis_do_post_title' );

    This first line applies to child themes using the old XHTML markup and the second line for the new HTML 5 enabled child themes.

    Brad,
    Thank you again.

    That simple piece of code did the trick!
    I used the upper line, because the Executive child theme still uses XHTML markup.

    Thank you very much.
