    Hello,

    Site in question:
    http://www.xanadumobile.com/category/articles/

I am having an issue where Agency (built on Genesis) automatically makes the first image in any post its "Featured Image". This is undesirable and I have attempted to stop this by following this tutorial: http://wpsites.net/web-design/prevent-genesis-2-0-archives-from-using-first-image-in-content-area-as-featured-image

However, the tutorial code is not fixing the problem. I am even having an issue where one of my posts is showing a featured image that isn't even anywhere in the post! This is clearly a bug and unfortunately the StudioPress customer support hasn't been able to help me resolve it.

Anyone run into this issue before and have any ideas for how to fix it?

    Cheers,
    Mariya

You could manually add a featured image to each post.

Or set a default featured image using a plugin

Or use PHP code to set a default featured image for posts which you haven't added a image to manually

I did test that code when it was written by Gary Jones and it worked so not sure why it isn't as i have tested it again and you are right.

Thanks for the feedback on this Mariya and i will update the post and this topic once the code is fixed.
