    When Post content is removed using

    //* Remove the post content
    		remove_action( 'genesis_entry_content', 'genesis_do_post_content' );
    		remove_action( 'genesis_entry_content', 'genesis_do_post_content_nav', 12 );
    		remove_action( 'genesis_entry_content', 'genesis_do_post_permalink', 14 );

    the wrapping HTML,

    <div itemprop="text" class="entry-content"></div>

    is left behind.

    I see that it is hard coded in genesis/lib/structure/loops.php (lines 92 and 94).

    Is there a way to re-define genesis_standard_loop() with out this ".entry-content" wrapping HTML?

    Just remove the genesis_do_loop function and add your own loop:

    remove_action( 'genesis_loop', 'genesis_do_loop' );
    add_action( 'genesis_loop', your_custom_loop' );

    Hi there Marcel,

    Writing your own loop is the easy part!

    I try to keep genesis child themes as "out of the box" as possible.

    is there no other way to remove the itemprop="text" ?

    Thank you,

    Will

    If you *just* want to remove the itemprop, then:

    remove_filter( 'genesis_attr_entry-content', 'genesis_attributes_entry_content' );

    or a more future-proof way:

    add_filter( 'genesis_attr_entry-content', 'prefix_attributes_entry_content', 15 );
    function prefix_attributes_entry_content( $attributes ) {
        unset( $attributes['itemprop'] );
        return $attributes;
    }
