    Hi,

    I want the excerpts to have formatting. I read on the forums that the best way to do this is with manual excerpts. I am using this - i get paragraphs, but now the Read More button is gone.

    I want the button back, and if I can, I'd like to change it to Continue Reading.
    How's the best way to do this.

    Ok, I followed the instructions. http://codex.wordpress.org/Excerpt

    I now see the link on the blog page. But

    a) how do I get the link to appear on the home page?
    b) And how do I get it to have the CSS style that the theme had applied to it before I changed it to Manual Excerpt.

    (a) Adding the code snippet you referenced to Genesis  > Custom Code > Custom Functions
    Should make the change site-wide.

    (b) To change the anchor text of the link, make this alteration:

    Where you see this:
    > Read More...</a>

    Change it to the text you want:
    > Continue Reading...</a>

    Thanks for asnwering.  Ok. I got it working. I just need to figure out how to apply the more class to it. Hmmm
