    Hi, I temporarily would like a full width page for the homepage using Magazine Pro theme.

    I am able to do it before I add the widgets for Top except it adds the Page Name HOME above it. Only when I add the widget does that go away but then it only gives me 2/3 of space leaving 1/3 for the sidebar.

    I tried selecting Full Width Content in Customizer but that did nothing.

    Any ides on how I can accomplish that?

    BTW: I know other themes will give me that except I eventually want to use the content 2/3 and sidebar 1/3 ... I just need full width for now.

    Thanks.

    Add this to the top of the theme's front-page.php:

    //* Force full-width-content layout
    add_filter( 'genesis_pre_get_option_site_layout', '__genesis_return_full_width_content' );

    Hi,

    Didn't work. Is there anything else I should do or change a setting somewhere?

    Thx.

    I think I got it, had to remove the line about forcing the sidebar. Thx for your help!
