    Hi,

    I've found plugins to create fixed widgets... but how can I fix the welcome text widget AND still keep the upper / lower lines of the welcome text section, as shown on mikemetcalfe.co ?

    Also, when fixing the welcome text widget and scrolling down, the content rolls up right under the widget versus being blocked out. Any ideas?

    Thks

    Thanks Pixel Frau -

    1) On http://mikemetcalfe.co/e-store/   - trying to remove extra text and double line section with e-store.

    And have it display like http://mikemetcalfe.co/e-store/cart/

    2) On http://mikemetcalfe.co - trying to 'fix' the welcome text widget so it stays, and other stuff scrolls up.

    Cheers

    You might want to watch this video about how to use Firebug to help you find and test CSS.

    Using Firebug, I can see the page title on http://mikemetcalfe.co/e-store/ has been assigned borders (double lines):

    .page-title {
    border-bottom: double #ddd;
    border-top: double #ddd;
    font-family: 'Raleway', serif;
    font-size: 30px;
    line-height: 1.0;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 25px 0;
    text-align: center;
    }

    To remove the borders, go to Genesis –> Custom Code –> Custom CSS. Replace the above code with the following:

    .page-title {
    /*border-bottom: double #ddd;*/
    /*border-top: double #ddd;*/
    font-family: 'Raleway', serif;
    font-size: 30px;
    line-height: 1.0;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 25px 0;
    text-align: center;
    }

    Thks Pixel Frau. I see it's as simple as commenting out.

    When you say... Genesis –> Custom Code –> Custom CSS... which file or location do you mean

    cheers
