I need to know how to customize the footer link. The Metric tutorial from the old forum doesn't work.

    This is my site: http://illinoisseniorcareonline.com/

This is what I want to change:   Copyright © 2012 Genesis Framework · WordPress · Log in

That code can be found on Brian Gardner's site at http://www.briangardner.com/code/customize-footer/

Add the code to your functions.php file and customize as needed.

Sounds like you should read through this tutorial that explains how Genesis and your child theme work: http://my.studiopress.com/docs/child-themes/

After reading that page, what are you wanting the copyright text to say specifically?
