    I would like to use Genesis to create a theme that has a "single page" look. I might not be using the right term (the website will actually have many pages) but each page would look like the home page of the Centric theme. As you scroll down the page has different sections, identified by different backgrounds. It looks like it combines several pages (or posts , or widgets) together on one page. Anyone know of a tutorial that could help me get started creating something like this?

    If you used unique widgets for that, you would need a huge amount of widgets so custom fields are a better option.

    You could copy the front page template and rename it to single.php then replace the widgets with custom fields.
