    Hi

I'm very new to this and not a technical person. I need help on my website http://bestsyntheticoilguide.com I am using Balance theme. I have 4 pages on my primary navigation menu. I have my home page article (What is the best synthetic oil?) as a static front page as this is my most visited page. I want to change the others 3 pages (motorcycle oil, SAE & API, Oil Change) to display under the home page content as featured pages #2, #3 and #4 with image and a little bit of text. I want it to look similar to the Balance theme demo but the different would be they are pages not posts.

My question is I would like to add custom content below my static page, how can I modify the theme to create a custom page template with a new widget area below the main page content? This would allow me to add “Featured Page” widgets to that widget area to display content from additional pages. Do you have a code snippet you can share with me for this?

Your help would be very much appreciated. Please help me. Thank you very much.
