    I am working in the Executive child theme and thanks to earlier help here on the forums was able to move the post info below the post title. Somewhere along the line the colored box behind the post date and comments link that is in the original theme disappeared and I want it back. Although I think I know where in the CSS to change the box colors, etc... nothing is happening. Could this be b/c that line of info was moved to below the post title in the theme functions.php?

    Any help would be awesome! This is the css that I think I should be changing but nothing is happening...

    /* Post Info
    ------------------------------------------------------------ */

    .post-info .date-info {
    background-color: #f8f8f8;
    color: #777;
    font-size: 12px;
    float: left;
    margin: 0 0 25px -60px;
    padding: 20px 20px 20px 60px;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    }

    .post-info .comments {
    background-color: #64c9ea;
    color: #fff;
    float: left;
    font-size: 12px;
    padding: 20px;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    }

    .post-info .comments a {
    color: #fff;
    }

    .post-info .post-comments {
    background: url(images/bg-comments.png) no-repeat 0 2px;
    padding-left: 35px;
    }

    .post-info .author,
    .post-info .date {
    font-weight: bold;
    }

    They appear to be the correct styles for the original look, however on line 861 of your style.css file you've got the following:

    .post-info .date-info {
    background-color: #fff;
    color: #777;
    font-size: 12px;
    float: left;
    margin: 0 0 25px -20px;
    padding: 0px 10px 10px 30px;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    }

    Which as you can see is setting the styles differently. If you amend these styles to those you've posted above you should resolve this issue.
