    Hello guys, I would like to change the background color of the website that I'm working on I don't like the white color. Here is the link to it http://69.65.119.212/~occasion/. I don't see it on the style.css. Can you please help me? Thank you!

    regards... Jason

    Try this https://codex.wordpress.org/Custom_Backgrounds

    Add this to your functions.php file

    add_theme_support( 'custom-background' );

    Then go to Appearance > Background

    Hi Brad. I added the code snippet but it made the background show up on the entire page. I want the background to show up just on the sides and have the background behind the content area and sidebar white. I currently am on Pretty Young Thing and want my blog to look the same once I switch to Magazine Pro. Here is my current look http://www.tinysidekick.com

    That's normally what it does once you add a image using the Custom Background page under appearance.

    Ok. Is there a way to set up a wrap then so that my text and sidebar area have a white background like this website that we are on?

    Thats what the custom background should do. Maybe your theme is coded differently to SP themes.

    You could use CSS like:

    .entry,
    .sidebar {
    background-color: #fff;
    }
