    ^^ 🙂

    I'm a newbie at design and stuff but was able to change some basic stuff in the going green theme CSS, like the colors of the backgrounds and other stuff like that. Once Christmas is over I want to change the header background to an image and add another image as the main background that scrolls with the user's screen so I don't have to tile it.

    Can someone tell me how to do it?

    Thanks in advance!

    The theme setup instructions explain how to add a custom image: http://my.studiopress.com/setup/goinggreen-theme/

    Thanks, but I want to change the whole header background from green to an image, not just add a small image onto the background. And same for the red background below that's to the sides of the content...

    Hello,

    I had the same question about how to add an image to the header background, but obviously no one helped you with it here. I saw that you managed to do this ... can you share how you made the change? It looks great...

    No one here helped me. I paid my web/graphic designer to do it for me, but since I'm such a nice guy, I'll give you the CSS code:

    header.site-header {
    background: url("YOUR LINK TO IMAGE");
    background-size: 100% auto;
    background-position: center bottom;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    box-shadow: 2px 2px 1px rgba(50, 50, 50, 0.75);
    }

    alter as needed
