    I'm using the Balance and am using the featured post widget to put images of recent posts in my sidebar. Ideally I would like a way to get either a pin it button below each image or a mouseover pin it button on each image. I'd also like the same on the portfolio pages of the balance theme. Does anyone know how to do that?

    There are a number of social sharing plugins - I've  just recently installed the Really simple Facebook Twitter share buttons plugin, which also includes the ability to Pin it for Pinterest. You can chose where you want to add the share it button (sidebars, individual posts, archive pages etc.)
