    I seem to have some problems formatting the widgets with css in my main stylesheet (style.css). I tried to change the font-size of the excerpt text in the featured posts widget, but I can't get it to work.

    I have tried stuff like the following in various combinations, tried being more or less specific, nothing works:

    .featured-content .featuredpost .entry-content{
    font-size: 12px;
    }

    .featured-content .featuredpost p{
    font-size: 12px;
    }

    The website is: https://ziprett.ch/test/

    can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'm probably missing something really obvious.

    I know I could try to apply the css directly in the plugin stylesheet, but that's not what I want to do unless there is really no other way.

    Hi Nicoletta

    It looks like you need to remove the space on the .featured-content.featuredpost classes.

    Try that for starters and let us know if it doesn't work.

    Hi Dom

    Thanks for the input! I already tried it without the space it doesn't make a difference.

    Give this a try

    .featured-content .entry p, .home-bottom .featured-content {
           font-size: 12px;
    }

    Using Chrome inspect it worked.
