The title says it all. I want to add the Read More link when using the post except. I know that Genesis has an option to limit the post content to a certain number of characters and that does add the read more link, but I'd like to use the custom except and the read more link. Is there a straightforward way to do this in Genesis or do I just need to hook into the excerpt filter and add the code?

Hi,

yes, the straight-forward way is to hook into the get_the_excerpt filter.
