    How do I add a Slider on the homepage in Altitude Pro theme where the main image is?
    The current image is 1600x1050px and I want it to look exactly like it does now only using a Solilioquy slider.

    You can add the slider shortcode to the front page 1 widget area however you will also need to modify the CSS a fair bit.

    What about a random loader that loads a different photo each time? Would that be easier?

    No. Soliloquy is good, you simply add the shortcode to a text widget however all the work is in modifying the CSS so it displays full screen.
