I recently installed Author Pro, and one of the features from old Genesis sites that is missing in this one is an easy way to add a Search box to the very top of each web page. I installed the Genesis Club Lite plugin, and now I can add a search box to my primary menu, but it looks terrible (the Search button is giant and looks uneven on the menu and messes up my menu placement). I found some custom code that provided the Primary Navigation Extras to appear in my Theme settings that I found here (http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/nav-extras/), but when I select the Search box option, nothing displays at the very top of my site. How can I just add a simple Search box to the top of my site? I wish StudioPress hadn't removed this extremely useful and easy option!

Thanks for your response. Yes, I found that already and added the custom code, but the search box still does not appear.

You did uncomment the search form code right?
