    Well, I've managed to get the color options snippet working in the back end (yay!!), but now I'd like to add the same to the front end side panel - the one that pops out when we click the "Customize" link. How can I do that?

    Just to be sure, I'm not trying to take the "how-do-i" easy way.... I am taking the time to study settings api and theme customization api (and php and css and jquery, etc, etc...). However, these quick how-to tips really do help to make sense of things. I hope to some day be providing answers as well. 🙂
